Mercedes3About this data tool
The board requests football events for seven consecutive dates. It groups every returned fixture by day, so readers can scan the week without opening a separate result page for each league.
The free source returns a featured selection rather than every match played worldwide. Major and minor competitions may appear together. Always confirm travel, ticket and broadcast information with the competition or club.
Schedule reference
The same fixture can move through several labels during the week. This table explains the fields used on the football match schedule.
| Schedule field | What it means | What to verify |
|---|---|---|
| Kick-off time | The start time returned for the fixture. | Check the official league or club listing because local time conversion can differ. |
| Scheduled | The match is listed but no completed score is available. | Late venue, weather and broadcast changes can move the start time. |
| In progress | The source has marked the football match as active. | The free feed can update later than a dedicated live-score service. |
| Final | The event record contains a completed result. | Competition reviews can still correct a score or status. |
| Postponed | The match will not start at the original time. | Look for a new date from the league or either club. |
Score updates
The page checks for a fresh server response every five minutes while it remains open. A finished score or changed match status appears after the source updates its event record and the CalifGym cache expires.
Leagues and kick-off times
A football week does not follow one universal clock. Domestic leagues, cup ties and international competitions can all appear on the same date. The board keeps the date supplied by the source and places the league name above each fixture so that two matches with similar club names are easier to separate.
Kick-off times deserve a second check when a match matters to your plans. Daylight-saving changes, late television selections and local venue decisions can alter the official time. CalifGym shows the available source record, while the competition organizer remains the final reference.
Planning the week
Start with the date group, then check the league, teams and status. A dot instead of a score means that the fixture has not produced a result in the feed. A numeric score means that the source has returned match data, but the status line tells you whether that result is final.
The previous and next controls move the full board by seven days. That is useful when a league round crosses a weekend or when midweek cup matches sit between two domestic rounds. The selected start date stays in the URL, so the view can be bookmarked or shared.
Changes and corrections
Football schedules change for ordinary reasons: weather, policing, television selection, stadium conflicts or progress in another competition. A postponed match may remain on the old date until the data provider receives the replacement fixture.
Scores can also be corrected after the first result arrives. The board replaces its cached response when it receives fresher data. It does not invent a missing score or infer a result from social media reports.
