The weekly view requests basketball events one date at a time, then places them into daily groups. That makes a mixed global schedule easier to scan when several leagues are active.
The free feed limits the number of games returned for each date. The board is useful for discovery, but it is not a complete NBA, WNBA or international fixture database.
Schedule reference
Basketball listings use several short status labels. The table separates a scheduled tip-off from an active or completed game.
| Schedule field | What it means | What to verify |
|---|---|---|
| Tip-off time | The listed start time for the basketball game. | Check the official league schedule for the venue time zone. |
| Scheduled | The game is listed and has no completed result. | Back-to-back travel or television changes can affect the start. |
| In progress | The provider has marked the game as active. | The free feed does not promise possession-by-possession updates. |
| Final | A completed basketball score has been returned. | The official box score is the reference for statistical corrections. |
| Postponed | The original game time is no longer active. | The league should publish a replacement date or cancellation notice. |
Score updates
The open page checks again every five minutes. Scores and status labels change when the source publishes a new event record. For possession-by-possession coverage, use the official league service.
Leagues and game dates
Basketball seasons overlap across countries. An NBA or WNBA date can sit beside a domestic league game from another time zone. Each card therefore keeps the competition name visible instead of treating every event as part of one league.
The date is the useful starting point, but it is not enough on its own. A late evening game in one country may appear on the next calendar day for a reader elsewhere. The source time and the official league schedule should agree before you set a reminder.
Reading basketball scores
Upcoming games show the two teams without a completed score. Once the provider supplies a result, the numbers appear beside the team names. The final status matters because a score can be present while the game is still active or waiting for confirmation.
CalifGym keeps the weekly schedule compact. It does not reproduce a full box score, player minutes or possession data. Readers who need those details should use the official competition record after identifying the game here.
Calendar movement
Broadcast selections, arena availability and travel disruption can change a basketball start time. Tournament rounds may also depend on the result of an earlier game, which leaves part of the schedule unsettled.
The board checks for a replacement record every five minutes while open. It displays the latest source response but does not send alerts when a time changes.
