CalifGym Sports & Performance

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information CalifGym may receive, why we use it and the choices available to visitors.

Information you provide to CalifGym

The main way to contact us is by email at [email protected]. If you write to us, we receive the information included in your message, such as your name, email address, organization, project details and any links or files you choose to send.

Please do not send sensitive personal information, medical records, passwords or confidential athlete records through ordinary email. If a project requires information about a minor, a parent, guardian or properly authorized organization should make the contact and share only what is necessary.

Information created when you use the site

Like most websites, the server may create technical logs containing information such as an IP address, browser type, device type, requested page, referring page and the time of a request. WordPress, security services, hosting providers or analytics tools may also use cookies or similar technologies for essential operation, security and aggregated measurement.

If CalifGym adds a new analytics, advertising or form service, this policy should be updated to describe the service and any additional choices before that use begins.

How we use information

  • To answer questions, review corrections and respond to project or partnership enquiries.
  • To operate, protect, troubleshoot and improve the website.
  • To understand which pages are useful in aggregated form.
  • To comply with applicable law, enforce site terms and prevent fraud or abuse.

Sharing and selling personal information

CalifGym does not sell personal information for money. We may share limited information with service providers that help host, secure, maintain or measure the website, subject to their role in providing those services. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, or complete a business transition permitted by law.

Sponsored articles and commercial links concern published content; they do not authorize a partner to receive private email enquiries or personal visitor data unless that is separately and clearly disclosed.

Retention and security

We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was received, operational records, dispute prevention and legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no email account, website or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your privacy choices

Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to request access, correction or deletion of personal information, to learn about certain uses or disclosures, and to exercise privacy rights without discriminatory treatment. To make a request, email [email protected] with the subject “Privacy request.” We may need to verify the request before acting.

Children’s privacy

CalifGym publishes information about youth sport but does not intentionally ask children to submit personal information directly. A parent, guardian, coach or authorized club representative should handle enquiries involving a minor. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted personal information without appropriate authorization.

External links and policy changes

CalifGym articles may link to clubs, governing bodies, events, research and commercial sites. Their privacy practices are their own. We may update this policy when the site, its services or applicable requirements change; the date at the top identifies the current version.
